Federico Tenca Montini, researcher in OPEN BORDER team, presented the provisional results of his research on the history of TV Koper-Capodistria as part of the ERC Open Borders project at the City of Books festival in Nova Gorica.
He described the role of TV Koper-Capodistria in the Italian media sphere during various phases of its activity, starting from the ‘golden age’ of the late 1970s to the agreement with Silvio Berlusconi’s media company reached in the mid-1980s, and finally, to the dismantling of the antenna network that covered Italy in the 1990s.
The interview, which took place in the central Bevec Square and was attended by about 50 people, featured the President of the Association of Humanists in Nova Gorica.
