On October 13 2025, Marco Abram presented the paper “Oltre il crinale. Le organizzazioni alpinistiche jugoslave e la cooperazione transfrontaliera con l’Italia” at the workshop “Prospettive sulla Jugoslavia socialista. Associazionismo, solidarietà, immaginari” at the University of Florence. The workshop was organized in the framework of the ERC project HumanEuroMed “Humanitarianism and Mediterranean Europe: a Transnational and Comparative History (1945-1990)” and of the Prin project “Reframing Globalization in European Peripheries: Intellectual and Economic Expert Networks Facing Political and Economic Transformations (1975-2022)”. In a particularly stimulating atmosphere, Dr. Abram had the opportunity to present and discuss his research findings with an audience of engaged and exceptionally competent scholars.
