On October 14, Urška Strle gave a lecture at the Institute for Recent History in Belgrade titled “Hunting in Socialism: International Connections of Slovenian Hunters and Anglers during the Cold War.” The lecture presented conceptual issues and methodological guidelines relating to the specific research topic of the OPEN BORDERS project, and served as a forum for discussion of the empirical specifics of the history of hunting, as presented by researchers from the Institute, particularly in the fields of political, diplomatic, and economic history.
