On 30 October 2026, the first Management Committee Meeting of COST Action CA25134 – EDGES took place in Brussels. The meeting was attended by Dr Borut Klabjan, coordinator of the Open Borders project and Slovenia’s Management Committee (MC) Member in the COST Action EDGES.

Bringing together members of the international research community involved in the Action, the meeting marked the official launch of cooperation within the four-year COST framework. Participants discussed priorities, exchanged perspectives, and coordinated future activities, contributing to the development of the Action’s work programme and laying the foundations for long-term collaboration and knowledge exchange.

The first Management Committee Meeting represents the beginning of a four-year period of international cooperation, networking, and joint research efforts within the framework of EDGES. It also laid the groundwork for developing new academic partnerships and advancing research on border-related issues across different disciplines and regions.
