Karlo Ruzicic-Kessler and Marco Abram presented and discussed their research at the conference “Europeanisations from the Bottom and from the Margins, Actors, Representations, and Experiences (late 19th-early 21st centuries)” organized by the University of Lausanne (Switzerland). Karlo Ruzicic-Kessler presented a paper under the title “The Alps-Adriatic Region during the Cold War: Imagining a Europe Beyond East-West Divide”, while Marco Abram’s presentation was entitled “On the East of Europe’s Backbone: Mountaineering and Cross-Border Cooperation in the Julian Alps 1960s-1980s”.
