The lecture delivered by Borut Klabjan to school teachers and other participants in a seminar organized by the Istituto per la Storia della Resistenza e della Società Contemporanea di Reggio Emilia on the Croatian island of Rab explored the non-linear nature of the transition from war to peace. The seminar was held on an island that hosted an Italian concentration camp for Slovene and Croat civilians during the Second World War, where mortality rates were exceptionally high. This outreach activity contributes to the ERC project’s objective of disseminating research results to broader and more diverse audiences, particularly educators and other multipliers who are instrumental in fostering historical literacy and combating misinformation.
