FIELDS OF INTEREST:

Tina Filipović is a historian and a Senior Assistant at the Department of History, Faculty of Humanities, Juraj Dobrila University of Pula. She received her PhD in History from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Zagreb, in 2025. From 2018 to 2023, she worked as a research associate on the Croatian Science Foundation (HRZZ) project Microstructures of Yugoslav Socialism: Croatia 1970–1990, where she investigated the role and influence of the partisan veterans’ organization (SUBNOR) in Croatia. During this period, she was also employed as an Assistant at the Department of History in Pula within the HRZZ-funded Young Researchers’ Career Development Project. She subsequently worked as a research associate on the ERC-funded project Social Politics in European Borderlands: A Comparative and Transnational Study, 1870s–1990s, focusing on the intersection of border dynamics and veterans’ welfare in the North-Eastern Adriatic borderlands. As a member of the Centre for Cultural and Historical Research of Socialism (CKPIS), she actively engages with broader themes related to the political and social history of socialism, memory culture, veterans, borders and welfare. In recent years, she coedited an edited volume, published multiple scientific articles and shared her work at both international and domestic conferences.
